Both.

And this answer really helps clearing things up.

All depends on wich one you buy, they even have 2" rc40's now .

Nick: Really, since minispares don't specify any sizing I assume they are all the same diameter.

Dusky: Are you sure? I can see some on minisqpares where just the end pipe is 2"

Mine is 2 inch, if you look halfway down this page youll see how I modified it http://www.theminifo...today/page-439. On the following page you'll see the completed job. I put the flexi in because no matter how much I tightened it up, the Y piece was moving on the downpipes and letting air in and as a result affecting the lambda reading.

Does the diameter change on the bends?

It all depends on which end you measure it. As one end is flared.

And also is the measurement the ID or the OD? They do not say.

Craig what exact info do you need? I can measure mine tomorrow.

But I would say it is too small for yours.

It is on the limit for mine.

I will actually only need the CAT back section.

Looking at my exhaust today it is a bit of a mess.

1 7/8 down pipe - to a 1 3/4 link pipe with flex joint (using a reducer) - into the CAT ( which hangs low) - 1 3/4 two box RC40 CAT back section.

Not ideal but I need to keep the flexi joint section as it has the flange for the CAT.

What i need is a single box CAT back system. Options are a RC40 1 3/4 or a Maniflow 1 7/8.

I have to say the info the actual diameter on almost all suppliers pages is pretty sparse.

Even with the manifold system - I am not sure if the the section from the CAT to the silencer is 1 7/8 or is it it is just the rear section that is 1 7/8. http://www.maniflow....ct&product=1144
