I was just wondering, how hard is it to remove the cable from the dash?

What's involved, do I need to remove the switch panel?

Does the cable pass through the fire wall easily?

Thanks......

There is no cable.

It is all hydraulic in the engine bay.

It's a bit fiddly but not too hard. Need to remove the switch panel which is secured by 2 snall nuts on either end. I use a 1/4" drive socket on a long extension to get at them. From memory I think the nuts are 5/16". Should pass through bulkhead easy enough.

And please don't stab yourself, probably your hand, with the end of the inner cable, which can be very sharp. Guess how I know!

All sorted, all I had to do was remove the headlight switch and hold the nut still while I rotated the choke cable......

Who knew it would be so straight forward......

Thanks again.....
