Do an experiment, wrap the edge of the lens in black tape and take the photo again.

It looks as most of that light is coming from the sides of the lens and not the actual reflection from the screen. Would be interesting to find out how much it is reduced by with some black tape fitted and if it is reduced, what can be done to produce a lens with black sides or similar.

Apart from painting the sides or setting it into a housing that would shroud the lamp, only duct tape will do :) duct tape fixes everything....

Hi Guys,

Took some pictures before in my garage with the door closed and the lights turned off.

Don't know why they've been shrunk down but as you can see from the images the vast majority of the light is bouncing off the inside of my garage door, not reflecting off the rear window.

The light doesn't startle or distract you in any way, but will certainly get the drivers attention behind you.

From the back with the door open slightly:

Hope this helps.

It looks good but I do think it needs some sort of shield round the outside of the fitting.

You guys still around?  The website is inactive now, but I would love to see what you have to offer.

Hi,

Thanks for this. Slight issue with the website, all up and running again now.

Let us know if you need anything.

Thanks again,
Ian
