I should imagine there are a few bits that would be useful to a pickup restoration
would take a lot to get it back to standard -
but I'm sure someone out there could do it - maybe your self ?

A chap or club has restored a pickup in far worse condition, albeit with the help from a tame welder.
Does it have a V5?

Doesn't have the v5 vin numbers have been removed so will need to get an v5 from another donor vehicle so that isn't ideal

I would say if the roof and B-pillars are still there and in decent shape, then go for. These two panels are the most unique to the Pick-Ups.
Most Pick-Ups these days are having all the panels replaced anyways because of the rust issues. Look at any of the 3 Pick-Up builds that are on-going right now. Pretty much new panels all around.
I would start with a FULL floor and load bed setup from M-Machine. Very nice and makes things a lot easier (kind of wish I did).
There are plenty of Mini Parts traders at the upcoming shows, Im sure you can find enough to rebuild the rest. Also look in the For Sale section
Every PUP is worth SAVING

No VIN and it can never go back on the road, without at least an IVA test, which it will fail unless extensively modified. But it can be used as parts to repair a shell that does have a VIN. There is no ID or means of checking the source of body panels. So you could find one in far worse condition, with a VIN, and fit your better shell bits to it, plus as many new panels as necessary. Or trailer it around to shows and such like without going on the public highway.
Unless, of course, you can establish some of its history and maybe establish what the VIN should be, and the registration number. That is not usually feasible, unfortunately. Also, I fear that its ID has been illegally purloined to use on some other vehicle.
In view of the rarity of PUPs nowadays I would suggest that it is worth doing, and doing well. Please do not scrap it.
