Great, I just bought tex wipers from them, two sets.

I guess I will have to see how they go when my car is finished.

According to the PO they are offering free replacements?
May be worth contacting them.

Here's a comparison of the TEX heavy duty 11" wiper (bottom) vs the new Minispares 11" wiper (top).

As you can see, the build quality and quality of the rubber appears superior in the Minispares unit.

Why the fuss about wiper blades? Halfords have their own brand W11 for £6 or Bosch SP11 for £10. You don't yet need a Mini specialist for many consumable parts, and you will get better quality, as they are coming off the same production line as parts for current model cars, in factories with proper quality control.

£10? We need to put our prices up, http://minispares.co...sic/gwb911.aspx genuine Bosch blade, less than half the price of Halfords even before your tmf+ discount ;)

I bought a set of 11" heavy duty blades on the 9th of February from minispares.

Absolutely rubbish, smear the window more than they clear it.  The wipers even lift of the screen on the motorway.

I guess they were aware of these issue (as the description of their new 11" blades suggest) but continued to sell them.

I'm using fiesta rear wipers on my mini, but I can't remember why. Think it was maybe for looks as they're 11" and flat.
