Hi all,

Sadly last week someone crashed into my mini, completely gutted but now need a valuation on it please.

1998 mpi. 47,000 miles with 11 months MOT.

It will be sold as a cat C requiring work to be completed to get it back to its former glory, with a full insurance report explaining its cosmetic damage only requiring new door, sill and wing if you are being picky.

I am having to decide if I want it back myself and get it repaired, or to sell it on, or take the insurance money and buy a replacement.

Condition wise, minimal rust in the usual places, certainly none showing apart from bits at the bottom of the drivers door which will be replaced. Runs great with no known faults.

Any valuation advise will be much appreciated.
So annoying also as I only serviced it 50 miles ago!!

Thanks.

Any advise on what you think someone would pay for it as a project would be great, if I do decide to sell it will be on eBay & the forum

If it is financial return you are after it is worth more in parts.

Thanks for the replies. The insurance company has now agreed to repair it after much discussion. They agreed it was worth more than the £4K payout they were offering me therefore said they are now happy to fix it. Fingers crossed they now stick to their word and get it back to the condition it was in prior to the accident
