What To Do?

As you can from the pictures it seems the flitch and floor pan is over lapping. I could put a screw driver in the join. And the flitch panel has some patches too. What would have to be done to correct this? Whole new floors or would half floors do? And full flitch panels or not?

Unless the floor pans are rot then the lower front edge can be cleaned, reformed and welded/seam sealed.
The flitch panels appear to look ok but what rot is hidden under that underseal.
Body shop could make a good job of sorting that, but dependant on labour charge may cost a bit.
It depends upon how far and to what extent you want to repair it.
Picture three shows the steering rack gaiter, that needs replacing also.

Yup the lips, flanges can be cutout and new sections welded in place. With them bulging like that the only answer is to remove those sections on both parts. I have done this very job on Project Paddy in my signature.
They will both be corroded.
Those repairs on the flitch would have me concerned as what is hiding under there??

I would seriously suggest learning to weld, a skill which is not too hard to acquire. That way, you can keep the repair bill down even if, as is likely, you find lots more problems lurking.
The cost of all the necessary equipment, plus consumables used in learning, will come to less than a bodyshop will charge for this one repair. And, you will have a new and useful skill.

I've emailed a local body shop and might call them tomorrow to see what they can do. I obviously would like to buy a welder etc and do it myself, but only have a driveway to work with and no storage. And although it will cost at least i know the job will be done properly. Someone suggested buying a pair of full flitch panels to cut up and use. In addition to the bits pictured behind the shock mounts is rusty not totally shot and there is a crack in the drivers inner wing. And the top engine steady bracket and the bulkhead needs welding too.
Ref the steering rack gaiter i hadn't seen it, thank you. The subframe is coming out for a refurb and changing to disk brakes etc too so will add it to my list.
