I'm pretty sure if you google it, you'll find CLR in the UK. We have it in Hardware stores and Supermarkets here.

I'm pretty good at googling and I can't find it, Amazon *used* to sell it apparently, but it's listed as 'no longer available ' will any other cleaners give the same result? Calgon for example as the man says?

I'm not familiar with Calgon.

I can suggest however, if considering any other alternative product, grab a copy of CLR's MSDS, this will have all the active chemicals used. Do the same for Calgon, or what ever else one maybe considering and compare them.

A quick google from here and this turned up;-

I stress, I don't know this product, I have not tried it, so I don't know if it's any good, or if it could be harmful to the cooling system components.

<Edit: Link to Jelmar - CLR's manufacturer - website  http://www.jelmar.com/CLRbasic.htm

and to the SDS (MSDS) for CLR  http://www.jelmar.co...0216 2-1-16.pdf

Maybe drop them an email and ask for UK distributors?   http://www.jelmar.com/contact.php

I do see many links to ebay sellers in the UK for it  >

When people are saying molasses, are you literally talking about the gloopy sweet stuff people put in barbecue sauces?

Yes but in quantities supplied to horse owners. Bought from same suppliers.

PS it stinks!
