So I have to admit, I had actually finished this about a month and a half ago but because I'm lazy I never updated the thread.
Ladies and Gentlemen shes finally done, 14 months in the making and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
She's an absolute dream to drive, the looks the feel, the sound. the sound. Its phenomenal, its a head turner too! I genuinely couldn't be happier with this car, yes the paint may not be as shiny as I wanted but I'm so pleased with myself, not many 21 year old's can say they've done what I've done complety on their own. I cant wait to get another project going, I know if I do another mini, I can really do it better, from what I've learned, if i do it'll be a mk3. However I'm also leaning towards my dream car from that era, a triumph gt6. I guess we'll have to see but for now its back to University and flying training, we'll have to see towards the spring.
Its been an absolute pleasure, see you on the next build.
