I use Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel cleaner to clean my Ultralites. I was thinking of protecting them with Poorboys Wheel Sealant. What are your experiences with the combination of these two. I know the Bilt Hamber is good, how good is the Poorboys or is there something else?

I put the Poorboys stuff on some wheels right after I got them powdercoated, it's pretty good stuff.

Tried to be clever and put some wax on top of the Poorboys for extra protection, it just beaded right off the wheel and made a puddle on the floor.

I user nothing but poor boys wheel sealer. Get a good layer on it then leave over night to dry. Polish off in the morning. I've done a few layers to both my new wheels and the wheels on my daily and the dirt just falls off them!

From what you're saying it sounds good. Do you use any other cleaner with it and does it clog on the bolts?

Always use a neutral wheel cleaner, not acid. I apply the sealer with a cut in half yellow polish pad which manages to get in the corners nicely and you can get it off easily too.
