I love the look of the round chrome spot lights bolted to the back of minis on the boot. I see that mini spares do one but it's £170 ish. Can't I just buy a cheap front spot and mod a right angled Bracket for it?
Has anyone done this, if so any pics of fitment?

They are not spotlights, they are Lucas 5" back mounted fog lights.

Drilled a 10mm hole in the bootlid for the bolt for the bracket and bolted it, then drilled a smaller hole for the reverse wire to pass through.... simple....

I did need to extend the reverse wire from the loom, through the bootlid, then to the spotlight fitting. The earthing point is through the casing of the spotlight itself and also through the bootlid too...

Done the deed, put a little second hole for wire as you suggest minifreek with grommet. Found brand new WiMac fog lights bought ages ago and never sued! Yet to wire it up but have extended wire ready to run across to meet up with existing reverse light wire. Only had 6 inch so a little larger but it gives the look and I preferred the higher mounting rather than level with number plate.
Chuffed with It, thanks for advice
