electric in the rear and a pressure regulator close to the carb.

standard fitting for many cars.

Pro's - alleged reliability and the circuit can be put on a nice hidden switch as an added security measure....

Cons - it's not cheap and  from memory shopping list runs to pump (with if your'e considering a facet cube type - the microfilter (sometimes optional depending on supplier) and mounting kit) , regulator, relay and assorted wiring and - if you're not going to wired it to the oil pressure switch an inertia switch for safety;s sake (you dont want the pump merrily pumping if you have a accident - couple of quid from the scrappers whipped out of pretty much any modern car) and you'll need the blanking plate too, then factor in all new modern spec fuel line..... and it all really adds up... about 80 -90 quid all in...

The standard facet cube should be suited to your engine...

It's a faff but mine hasn't died yet....

I converted a year ago, holly pump under boot, regulator with gauge under bonnet and ford inertia switch. So far has been very reliable, set at 3.5 lbs. running a 1380 with 276 cam and hif44.
