Is it possible to get Australian style doors with the quarter lights in Britain? Does anyone make them?

Australian windup doors are Mk1 size with external hinges. If you have later doors the Innocenti (Italian) cars had front quarter windows too, these might also work?

Funny how there are people in Australia asking how they can get rid of the quarter window and have a full windup window like the UK!

Innocenti doors are the same size as later mini doors but are difficult to find as are pretty rare these days.
Maybe we could setup a parts exchange with Australia? 😎
Turned some down a few years ago as had nowhere to put them... I regret it now...

Me too. I'd be happy to pay their prices for them.

Oh my.... im happy to swap anyone my Aussie Doors for their UK ones... quarterlights are a nightmare. They leak, cause visability issues, the seals last around a week, impossible to open most of the time...

Would you take two rusty ones with 3 hinges and scratched glass?... 😬

If I had some in good working order I would exchange them no problem, would even fly them over myself! 😁
But maybe this thread has set something in motion (hopefully) so some might become available for both the needing markets on the opposite sides of the world needing what the other has.

The problem you'd face trying to get people to swap is they fundamentally won't fit as the UK windup and Aus windup doors are a different size and have external rather than internal hinges...

They're standard fit for Australian doors (well after a certain date)
