Hif44 Carb Gradually Becomes Too Rich

The o-ring on the choke spindle was dry as a bone. It cracked as soon as I handled it, which is a good sign because I'm totally out of ideas past that. That could certainly explain the excess fueling.
I'll come back in a few days if it slowly goes downhill again.

Did you reset the float height?

Any update?I seem to have similar problems with my carburetor. :/Doing well for a short while at idle and slowly die or if I revving up it dies quickly, but will usually start again before stopping completely. So annoying
Yes mine ended up being the little o-ring that's on the choke mechanism when you pull it out of the carb. Runs great now.
