Did mini's (1991) leave the Factory with front towing eyes installed? I bought my mini like this, but i cant help but wondering if this is correct? It doesnt look like the subframe is really clamped like this.

yep look right to me as there a nut and washer on the other side of the subframe,looks woese because of the respay..

You could always go to the later version like on mpi's... but two bolts and some washers would be cheaper. 😀
