Hi,

Looking for information on wiring up the dials into the dashboard in the attached images. They are Veglia Borletti dials on a 1990 carb 1.3 mini. This is not my mini. I am asking for a friend so this is unfortunately all the information I have.

They tell me that they swapped these dials from an innocenti mini and would like to put them into an English produced mini.

My questions:

* Do the innocenti/Veglia Borletti dials require different sensors to make them work, e.g. the fuel sender has different wiring/different resistance ranges?

* Is the wiring exactly the same? I can't imagine that these dials would require vastly different wiring from the typical stock/Smith's gauges.

Thanks in advance.

Yes the Inno had different sensors,

the fuel gauge actually had a light! luxury! so had a different sender too.

apparently jaeger sensors may work

I think you can use a normal temp sender and wire in a resistor to compensate.  The original sensors are very very rere. Try Ebay.it.
