had a bit of a eureaka moment today whilst working on the pup.
im fed up of having to keep cleaning brake drums and freeing off stuck brakes everytime the pup has been stood for a long period of time.
my solution, coat the inside of the drum with grease or copperslip....simples 😊 ingenious i know,thank me later

I find 5l of impact adhesive long term protects the cooling system perfectly............

 

(In all seriousness my now unlamented ex did that....was actually rather easy to fix!)

 

Drums /shoes if kept nice and clean shouldn't seize when laid up (that said I never leave the handbrake on but if the do a few good whacks with a rubber mallet normally frees them.... if this keeps happening and you're going to lay it up for a while wind the adjusters all the way out..(takes 2 mins). and write yourself a note stuck to the inside of the windscreen that you've done it.......
