Hi - I have just joined the mini forum in the hope that someone might be able to offer some advice.
I have purchased and imported a 1968 Morris Mini Moke from Malta. It's in fair original condition with no modifications.
It became quite hard to change gear as the clutch was not engaging properly. The clutch is now slipping
quite badly.
I have been told that an oil seal has probably gone which has allowed engine oil to reach the clutch plate.
My local friendly garage has said that they would replace the clutch and oil seal for me but would prefer
me to obtain the parts.
What I would like to know please is how do I ascertain which replacement parts I will need. There seem to
be quite a few variations for sale on ebay. thanks. Tim.
