If this is an unrecorded car, and it gets registered with a registration number, would it be a 2017 registration or an original 1959 registration number....?

 

to be honest it won't take that much to get it to be roadworthy, from the look of the photo's...

Nope doesn't mean that, means the damage category is outside the ABI standard or is minimal.
It's registered.....look at the high quality plates you get with it :lol:

What I don't understand is why it has a magic wand gear stick as all the Coopers had remote gear change. Also the DVLA lists it as black (which I am sure wouldn't have been a factory colour) and there is no evidence in the pics it was ever black. - Strange

Checking the reg, the VIN is KA2S4406827 , registered 24/05/1963.

VIN a Morris Cooper, mustve picked the ID up along the way during the last 50 years

Probably a long abandoned project
