Good morning all.

I am contemplating fitting scuff plates to the door sill to stop me dragging my size 10 hobnails across them. Does anyone else have them fitted, or are they considered a potential rust trap and so not used.

I am thinking of the stainless steel ones but am aware of the corrosion problems of mild steel against stainless.

Any advice would be welcome.
