I love MITP!!
It's one of the show high lights of the year.
If you only go on the sunday then you'll be disappointed as it's more of a weekend event.
This year I really enjoyed DJ pied piper, one of the best live acts we've seen there for a while.
I'd agree with the cramped camping, there really was no need though.
Looking forward to next years already!!

I always enjoy MITP. A mini adventure just getting to Santa Pod. It could be so much bigger/better though. The autojumble section is pathetic compared to only couple of years ago. couple of stalls with the same 2p items you can find thousands of on ebay. The event organisers need a good kick up the arse.

I agree with Shifty's comments, if you go for the entire weekend it's definitely still worth while.
As for the actual show though, it has been deteriorating over the last few years I feel. I had a few friends with me who came for the first time this year and I'd told them about how great the showcase they do on the strip is. The last time I went the showcase consisted of:
So after telling me friends how great it is to watch and insisting we get a good spot on the embankment to watch from I wasn't very pleased to see that MITP 2017 showcase in the afternoon consisted of:
That's some serious regression there and a complete disappointment even though I love Fireforce and I'm glad they're still attending.
Also what happened to Podzilla? I was under the understanding it was broken and they hadn't repaired it because I saw it break at MITP several years ago. Which would have been fair enough. However I've had people tell me that Podzilla has been appearing at VW shows so it seems that it's just not being shown at MITP anymore.
