Evening all,

I'm off to take a 2nd look at an Antracite/white Mpi cooper tomorrow. Lovely colour which looks black or dark blue under the sunlight. I checked the colour code on the chassis plate which is WED. Cooper sport register confirmed WED is the multi colour combo for NNX (Old English white) and LQW (anthracite) so the car is in its original factory colour.

However an hpi check has come back with a colour change in 2003. I found another post on here where someone suggested all Rover coopers were registered as "multicoloured" and I'm wondering if the change to blue has been done by a previous owner? Maybe there are a few out there like this?

If someone can confirm all Rover coopers were originally registered multicoloured that would put my mind at rest. I've been told the anthracite is on the blue scale and it definitely has blue flecks in it.

Cheers

My cooper sports is registered as multi-coloured, red body and silver roof.
