Hi all.

I wonder if there are any gardener type folk here who could help work out what this is growing in the garden of my new house.

We have pear trees, Apple trees and Elderberry but am not sure what this one is.

Any ideas?

I must check on them again.

I need to tidy up out there anyway, I just never have the time and the garden is so big, we can't keep on top of it   :(

Great to hear they should come good though!

I don't think it's ripe, the last fresh figs I tried were only just ready for eating in mid September.

Ah ok.

I read that the Fig is ripe when soft, has moved up to the top of the stem and started to droop.

Apparently, colour is not important and not a necessary sign of a ripe fruit
