Yet another ridiculous mixture of car and log book http://m.ebay.co.uk/...06d0%7Ciid%3A10 this description is classic and I quote "a mk3 convertable shell, mk1 morris mini cooper s chassis" how does that work?

"Cooper S chassis" aside, this is a motorbike engined Mini yet there's not a single shot from underneath the bonnet...

Interesting front subframe modifications?

Shame really as the welds on the exhaust look of a high quality, so maybe the sum of the parts and the basics are good it just needs a tidy-up?

That's notwithstanding the Mk3, Mk4 Cooper S stuff and the £6K asking price, but maybe that's what it cost to build?

A Mini with a separate chassis & body!     WOW! that's so unique it's definitely worth the price even without the R1 engine

Registered as a 1971 Mk3

-Mk4 or later interior, pedals, steering shroud, indicators & side repeaters, no removable panel in seat back, etc, etc.

Anyone had a late 80's/early 90's Mini nicked in the last few years???? (a question totally unrelated to the aforementioned vehicle -he added innocently).
