Fitting Solid Chrome Sills

Thinking that they would clip onto the sills directly. Looking at them in my hand it seems to look like I need to drill into the sills to get them fitted. I really hope that's not the case! Could there be a better way?

Could you use badge tape?

Where would one pick up that tape? I'm willing to look into it but would prefer a more positive way of holding it on there.

I got it off eBay but car accessory shops should have it too.

It should hold the trims on very securely.

I use it as well http://m.ebay.co.uk/...fcfeb%7Ciid%3A9 . As long as you really clean both surfaces so there are no contaminants on them it sticks really well and takes a lot of prising off.
