The battery; stood it also still during six years? Than you could have the tension (12V) but not the current (amp).
When you have a fresh battery, checque the connection of the earthline from the battery to the bottom of the boot.
Are you sure there is no rust there, not any. And the bolt that holds the wire to the bottom is tight?
The current has to go round and round.

"New aerth straps". There was no paint where you bolted them down. Both contact surfaces were totally blank? And the eyes of the battery cables are blank inside too?

Ok so i checked
1- earth straps , both new ish and clean contacted area
2 - battery is fully charged
3 -pulled all plugs cleaned and re checked gap - all seem fine
4 - tried checking 2 of HT lead for spark - no spark but unsure if im doing correctly !!!!!
5- fuel is only 3 weeks old
how do i check for correct spark andor clean the carb ?

i got volts to the coil , it might be the ignition module
