i think a few people on here are starting to think that in your overwhelming urge to comment on just about anything you fail to stop and think before you type.
and experienced driver, with a driving licence, should really have some idea of the reason for an extra red light on the back of a car. it really should be something you know about and use in the right circumstances. funny enough you may want to use such a light in one occasion when you should actually be driving slow on a motor way.
you say you didn't come here to be insulted but you keep on feeding,

The light was removed by the previous owner not me, I was merely asking what it was for - how dare I eh?
As for a driving licence, I think you'll find I've been driving longer than some of the posters on here have been living.
I'm of the opinion you never stop learning, some people clearly think they however know everything already

Fog light!!! You should know
Sure of course I had an inkling, but I prefer to be 100%
I have never owned a classic mini before, driven one yes, been a passenger in one many a time. So again I prefer to be sure what it's for before I set about putting a (potentially unnecessary) light back on

In all your years of driving you have never used a fog light or been on a motorway that wasn't flat ???
The forum is fast turing into the laurie show with an intelligence level to match the trash reality shows on tv !!!!

Minis are no different when it comes to lighting regs.

Most fog lights come with an on off switch, there is no such thing in the car, so no doubt if it was ever there that's been removed also
Now whether my posts meet with your personal approval or not, I will continue, this is a family friendly forum last I checked not the "Anorak approved post only forum ", now why don't you do us all a favour and squirrel yourself back into whatever hole you fell out of?
