Hi
I like to buy a 82 pickup. The taxcode is light goods farmers. The seller told me the car is taxfree. Is this true? Sorry im not from uk and dont understand your taxsystem.

If you're talking about the road fund licence then no, it works on a 40 year rolling limit. If you're talking about VAT, it depends on whether it registered for VAT or not.

I mean the vehicle tax to drive the car on the street.

no it will not be tax free yet you may need to have it re-classed as a Private Light goods when you purchase it for use in the UK.
