I've got these washers here that I'm fairly certain are related to the suspension although I can't recall where they're to be used. Given their very specific design I do suspect they're rather important. At one point I knew exactly what they were for, but that was such a long time ago now.

 

If someone could remind me what they're for I'd be very grateful.

That's exactly it, thank you!

 

Now, quick question in terms of assembly. Looking at the exploded diagram, it appears this should go between the quadrant and the radius arm. Is that correct?

Quite correct - just to stop them from rattling.
