Hi guys I'm using my sp code reader on an mpi with the correct v3 pod, when the car is running I get a data communication error screen and it will just stay on that screen, if car is not running it will be fine and I can scroll the data, now I believe it's throwing an error message as soon as I start the car for a fuel purge valve as I clear it but once I start it again the data communication error comes up and once I switch off the car and re boot the error code is back on

I'm using the acr harness cable 30214000 16 pin rover specific, I'm running it through the acr 2 line reader

Yep that's your problem, that lead has a known issue see http://www.theminifo...e-reader/page-8

You want the black one I quoted in the piece above, if your stuck drop me a PM.

Hi fs I done some research on here and done the mod of re locating the black wire from the diode and soldered it direct to pin 4 and it seems to have worked!
