Hi all,

I've got some plastic clips in my boot lid which are around 27 years old.

I need to remove and reinstall two of them as they've popped off the carpet.

I'm not familiar with these fasteners - any tips so I don't break them?

They are the same type as hold the door cards in. A flat blade under the edge and lever up should have them popping out. If they do break then they are readily available.

you need something like this, a trim removal tool. it contracts the plastic and it'll pop out.

Seconded. Plastic is your friend as you will scratch the paint if you use a screwdriver...unless you're respraying anyway. 😀
