I have a Automatic 998cc out of a 1980 Mini

Complete and totally original. It's only covered 18,000 since new. Runs perfectly and changes up and down as it should with no faults.

What is it worth?

£50.

Could sell the starter motor and alternator / cylinder head for more than that alone! Definitely more than £50 in it. Complete unit, low miles with everything on it

Yes, but time is money, therefore, if you want to strip the engine for parts and sell them separately then off ya' go...

and what you can't sell goes in the skip.
