I can understand making a crappy car go fast but still look crappy or a crappy car look like a betterone, however, cobbeling together one crappy car to another just seems pointless to me.

 

Having said that people must like it as they seem to be bidding.

I admire the engineering that's gone into producing such a hybrid but for me it's a waste of all that effort.

Commer camper with a Rover V8 :mrcool:  There's a couple around - one supercharged. Been for a spin in that one and it's rather good :D

Saw this come up in one of my saved searches the other night. I saw the initial pics and thought ooh I like the way that looks and sits.  Then having read the blurb I was just left wondering why really. I agee with the statements about everyone being different and liking different things, but at the end of the day I'm not sure why you wouldn't just mod either an Allegro or a Beetle, melding both together seems a tad pointless.
