Slippery slope, you will be buying yourself one soon. I did! ... And my 3 sons are driving or building minis too.

If you need and help or advice, just shout. Always happy to help, and once you have bought yours ( :-) ) there a a few "mature" drivers around this area that do trips out etc.

That's one tidy looking 25 you have there.  Love it!

Have to be a Mini Van for me. Will have to wait son number 2 will be driving in two and a half years. At the moment he has no preference on a car.

The 25 is great, the only change from original spec is the exhaust, spats (W&P) and wheels. We took it for a run to Pewsey over the weekend, not the slowest on the roads or Motorway, after the run the engine runs smoother. Will change the plugs, leads, fit electronic ignition and wheel arch liners before he stars to learn to drive.

He cannot wait to pass his test and get it to some meetings.

Sorry also has a Cooper grill, chrome bumpers and wiper arms.

We have the original wheels, bumpers and grill, will have to buy some black wiper arms and get them sprayed in nimbus grey

Not being picky. But the front indicators are wrong being the 88 onwards type, as are the side indicators, so it had at least a new pair of wings at some point. The rear fog light is also the later rover type, and the black pinstripes under the windows are non original.

Nice Mini, if your son is going to use it as an everyday car then the arch liners are a good idea and also adding some modern security devices when it is parked up......as classic Minis are very easy to steal compared to modern cars, as can be seen in the TMF section dedicated to recently stolen Minis.
