If its the one that goes on the inside of the window, its a transfer.

Soak in a tray of water until the transfer slides in the backing paper. Slide to the edge of the paper and position where its going on the glass. Hold the transfer in place and slide the backing paper away. Position and blot dry with paper towel.

Just make sure you slide the entire transfer in one go, otherwise it will crease!

Good luck.

The BMC 'stickers' are in fact water slide transfers. I suspect it's the same with this one as well - soak in warm water for a minute or two, then slide off into position. Anyone who has ever made an Airfix kit in the past will know what I mean...

Make sure the window is absolutely spotless, otherwise it'll look crap once dry...

A tip is also to add a drop of washing up liquid into the warm water, this is recommended by all the producers of waterslide transfers in the railway modelling industry.

Just some thoughts, never having one of these on a car, although I might like to as they seem rather nice.

Surely the external type doesn't use the water slide technique? It does rain in most places....

Or do you have to apply clear lacquer to seal them?

I remember applying those things to Airfix kits, usually ending up in a mess because they were going on a compound curve and the material had no ability to stretch.

I am not driving my car at rainy days. But suggestion is clear lacquer for sealing.

I don't think laquering is necessary. Mine have never come off and they are not lacquered. Once they dry they don't come off even when the car is washed.
