Gutted about this but ive decided to put our mini up for sale.
Its a 1994 mini sprite which ive had for around 6 years. For a mini the bodywork is great with only an A panel thats starting to bubble. This is because we only take it out on sunny days and when not in use she is covered up by multiple blankets and covers and kept under a canopy. Since we have had it ive done a few bits which include;
New suspension all round (genuine rubber cones with genuine HI-LO's and AGX dampers fitted)
Deep dish alloys with plenty of life left in the tyres.
Oil pressure guage
front spotlights on stainless steel mount
upgraded waterpump
upgraded oil filter housing and oil feed pipe
All of this gives a more pleasurable drive and keeps her going nicely. As said above she only comes out on a sunny weekend days to go for picnics etc so in 6 years its probably only done about 5/6000 miles. Ive flushed the coolant every 2 years and oil gets replaced every year with genuine Millers Mini oil 20/50 to keep that A+ series engine purring. Also all grease nipples are greased on a regular basis.
All in all shes a lovely example of a mini sprite and only needs the spot lights took off and steel wheels put on to take her back to a standard looking mini sprite. She does need an engine tune i would say as she struggles to start from cold (not used enough probably) once started she will start the rest of the day with one turn of the key.
