Has anyone done this to their standard 1275 MPi?

http://www.coopercar...-injection.html

hell of a lot of money, but just interested if there is anyone out there with it?

I have been looking through old posts and it mainly seems people do either the Stage 1 or Stage 3 conversion but not this one.

Cheers in advance

Loads of people have done it, the kit (in various forms) has been available since the early 90's.

Alot of people see it as a more 'period correct' modification, it is more expensive than a similar kit from Mini spares so it depends if you want all the Cooper badging and such or just want the car to go faster.

Thanks for the reply!

OK, maybe I wasn't searching correctly.

I have a 2000 X Reg MPI that's done just on 60k. I wont be using it as a daily driver, so just want to have some fun with the car.. It is currently in completely standard set up, but would like a few extra HP and a personal touch.

therefore is it better to do the more cost effective Mini spares tube, rather than paying for the name of the Cooper conversion?

Yes generally, not sure if they do a kit like that or you just buy the parts you need?
