Hi there,

I've just picked up a completely unused, never assembled 12G940 Cooper S head for 701 New Zealand dollars, which is roughly 380GBP. I'm feeling quite happy with the purchase but thought I might as check to see what they're actually worth. I'm pretty sure it really is a Cooper S head since it has 11 studs and bigger valves than the standard 12G940 I have lying around. Here's the link to where I bought it: https://www.trademe....x?id=1411005469 So tell me, how did I do?

Cheers,

James

Also just check back from the thermostat opening, on the flat machined area, there should be a P/N stamped in to it 12G1805.

If it's the real deal and complete, ready to fit, I'd guesstimate it would be worth between 700 and 800 dollars.

And an additional S or K or other letter determination.

This should determine if it is a Cooper S, Riley Kestrel or simular
