Hi everyone,

I have a shiny black rocker cover...never been used.  The problem is that it's too shiny.

Is there a way of dulling the paint, just to take the edge of this off?  I still want it to be metallic black...just more of a used look.  Currently it will stick out like a sore thumb and I'll be known as the guy with a new rocker cover.

thnx.

Run it, trust me the heat, road spray & oil soon kills the fresh look. Wish mine still looked fresh 3k on..

HI..thnx for that.  I did wonder whether the heat would take the shine off it.  If that's the case, then I'll go with that...it seems the simplest!

cheers...
