Very sadly having to sell my Mini, as I'll need a more modern car for work and I don't have space to keep it
It's a very distinctive one painted in Porsche Signal Green, with a nicely retrimmed interior in black with matching green stripes, seat piping and gear lever and handbrake covers. It also has a carbon fibre effect dashboard panel and vintage-style steering wheel.
The engine is a standard 998cc manual, but with a Maniflow 1.75" single box exhaust. The front brakes have been upgraded to discs (8.4"), and it has 12" x 5.5" alloy wheels, under Wood & Pickett style painted arches. All the tyres have plenty of tread, including a new spare that's never been used, and it has an MOT until the end of April 2018 (no advisories).
It's done just under 55,000 miles and has been serviced every 6,000 miles, with an oil and filter change every 3,000. It's also been smothered in Waxoyl every year. It starts and runs perfectly, and drives brilliantly. I've driven it all around the country and, for a Seventies Mini, it's very reliable.
The braking system was recently replaced, with new front discs and calipers, rear brake cylinders and adjusters, master cylinder, pressure valve, pads and shoes.
Lots of other parts have been renewed in the past few years, like the alternator, clutch and front subframe mounts. It also has halogen headlights, so you can actually see where you're going at night.
I've kept MOT certificates, garage bills and invoices from the time I've owned it, so that the new owner can see its more recent history.
I can include a silver Disklok steering lock with it, as well as an outdoor waterproof breathable cover from A-Series Spares, each worth about £100.
I'm asking for £4,500, but I'm open to offers.
Please send me a message or give me a ring on 07929913593 if you'd like to come and take a look at it, or if you have any questions about it. I'm based in Leeds city centre.
