Does anyone have a flywheel that they no longer need?
My son is studying BTEC Level 3 In Engineering at school and for his latest project he has designed a table lamp using a camshaft and a set of pistons and rods.
The one thing he is lacking is a solid flywheel (as opposed to a DMF) that he wishes to use for the lamp base and I wondered if anyone has one going spare that they no longer need due to damage etc.
I would be very willing to pay carriage costs or could collect from Castle Comb this weekend.
Thanks in anticipation!

Ask your son if he has ever tried to pick up a flywheel made of steel? Very heavy.

We've just rebuilt his engine which included a new clutch so yes, he's aware of the weight thanks.
His lamp is going to be a large item, the flywheel will be mounted on feet, and there are no plans to move it frequently!
