Very interesting film.

 

Finally got to see the much mentioned roller spot welder in action. I would imagine that would need considerable current to run that.

What a great video .. now having seen how they build the front end first, then attach it to the floor explains how they managed to get the spot welds in places that seemed almost impossible.  Love the rear window mod too.

Great video, I had no idea the MK1 had so many modified later panels; so diffferent from todays modern manufacturing techniques. No wonder they cost as much as they do.
