I wire tuck? Not seen one on an MPi before, although I intend to move the ecu and main relays on mine as theyll be in the way of the inter cooler.

Im thinking of relocating the ECU to inside the front wing, but concerned about how to keep it dry and away from road crap... also where to put the relays etc....

I like the clean look of a non fussy engine bay without any wiring showing...

then you don't want a Mini.

and under the wing is a bad idea. if anything put it in the car behind the dash.

If you want to tuck anything out of the way under the wing hidden just fit the arch liners.

Can't find any photos because they're all hidden..

Tucked smooth engine bays I love, but can see them being a right pain to fault find with

I've done a full wire tuck and smoothed bay, everything is either under the arch or behind the dash.  Although mine isn't an MPI though.

As Nicklouse says, behind the dash is the obvious place with the least amount of custom wiring. If you are changing the whole loom, (more fuses & relays) then under the back seat and rear bins are about the only other places on a Mini.

If you're going to mount electrics under the wing Tupperware is your friend!  Many different sizes of waterproof box with lids for easy access. Other makes available.
