Hi Everyone,

I've been browsing though the vast number of threads on here from photo galleries to how to guides and all I have seen is great work!

I thought I'd start of here. So HELLO everyone.

I have been the owner of two BMW Mini Cooper S' already. An R56, which looked like this:

Possibly a bit too low but it did make an awesome sound :)

I am now in the midst of selling my R53 which is in almost perfect condition:

I must say that I prefer the looks of the R56 without a doubt but the handling and performance of the R53 (which is unmolested) I find an easier drive.

Now on to the good part.... I am to be the new owner of this little beauty!!!

She's a 998 on only 40,000 miles. I'm not overly clued up on old school classics but with your help i'm sure I'll grasp it pretty quick :)

Cheers

Screech

Welcome, there are plenty on here that own both new and classic. We have 4 mini's in the household now, two 2013 JCW,s ( coupe and hatch), a mini 40 MPI and a twice magazine featured classic Cooper track car.
