I'm busy in process of fitting a new floor, I have had to cut away more of the passenger wheel arch than I would like, so willl be making a small patch panel to join the floor to the arch but what's are people's opinions on this pitting my gut is telling me to cut out anothe 2inch section unitll it's at the shinny part with no pitting, but looking for a second opinion. Thanks

Cut out and replace, it's the only way of completely removing the rust.

You don't have to replace the whole panel unless you need to, like too far gone to be worth repairing. But cut all the rot back to clean fresh steel, as any you leave behind will still be there under the fresh paint next to your repaired section. Not only spread and getting worse, but also spreading into the new section as well. And there's nothing worse than having to cop out previously repaired, still sound sections, to have to rear sections that weren't fully sored the first time round.

So I have cut most of the crap out and my a post is a lot worse for wear than I first thought.. what panels/repair pieces do I need , also whilst poking around I found a large hole on the top of the flitch above the air hose.
I think I have the right panels: xHZAfzA.png
