There is thin strip of paint that has been taken off the scuttle by the bonnet. If I move the bonnet forward then the spring pin won't locate the hole. Can anyone recommend a course of action?

Sorted now, read another post about it, just need to move the actual bracket with the hole forwards and then move the rest of the bonnet forwards. Might need to invest in some new hinges at some point
