In the process of replacing the floor as per my other post,
Currently door opening and a post are braced from a to b just above the hinge points, and from brace to centre tunnel. Front and back.

Looking like I'm going to need to replace the a post.

My thoughts so far at get the floor in and at least tacked onto place and move the brace to the top half of door from frame to b post.

Then cut out the as post and the rot on the top half of the flitch. Ready for replacement. Also replacing the bottom door step but can't do this unit I can mount the door so need to get the a post in first.

You've chopped a bit too much out in one go...

What are you doing with the rear quarters? I found when I replaced them with a heritage panels (not a bottom magnum half) I had replaced the door step too low! Had to cut and move it up.

When I replaced the A post on mine I left in the inner wing with the door hinge holes as something to line up the door with.
