Brake Master Cylinder Rebuild

There were three different shuttle pistons (19 in the drawing above) used during production. The one in the cut-away drawing is the early type and it looks like you have the last type. They supply O Rings in most kits to cover all types.

Hello,

A 1979 1275gt Clubman.

I have stripped down my brake master cylinder to replace the seals. Not the easiest of task when trying to read a Haynes Manuel that doesn't have a enough detail to be confident in what your doing if you haven't done it before. But anyway i managed to strip it right down without major issue...

Apart from, the Pressure Failure Switch piston was very tight to get out. Eventually i managed it but in the process pulling it out through some of its O-rings. now my issue is putting it back together.

Not sure what order the O-rings go in and the repair kit i bought came with to many O-rings.

I've tried to supply the best pictures possible.

Any help would be great.

Note: Cap head bolt shouldn't be there, thats when the electrical connection should be but i broke it  :whistling:
