Hello guys, i'm doing a university project that involves a report comparing car batteries. I have chosen to use a Mini as my example, but i cant for the life of me find anywhere that gives information on the genuine Mini battery. I would like to know a year of a Mini and the corresponding genuine factory fitted battery for that year.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

As Nick said above really, more than likely a 038 was the common O.E Fitment  when the Mini was introduced.

'60's Minis were factory fitted with Exide batteries most of the time. The then terminology in the trade called it a 7 plate low.
