I've gone through the forum looking for Mercedes M45 on series A projects, and I've found one person that seems to have done this. Since I've just gotten a Mercedes M45 for free, I'm started thinking about taking this little project on in the future. Does anyone have any helpful tips, hints, or pics of fitting a Mercedes M45 on a series A mini? As I understand it the biggest different fitting this compared to the Bini M45 is modifying the inlet?

Thanks in advance,

Lars

I might be wrong, but I think they have an internal bypass system. If so it would be good for a blow through set up.

Interesting info, thanks. I haven't removed it yet from my brothers car (which is going to be scrapped), so I'll have a look at it when I've done that.

Check my post "Merc C180 Charger" and click on the video link to see someone who has fitted one. My own will be on here in 6 months or so. You should be able to fit a bypass valve from the boost side to the inlet side using the second inlet hole.
